For Tepper Sports & Entertainment (TSE), which owns and operates the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC, the mission was clear: modernize technology to turn information into actionable insight.
The Panthers’ coaches and scouts needed a modern solution that could provide a unified, cloud-native, intelligent platform to streamline workflows, support AI, and deliver predictive insights at game speed.
Building the Panthers’ Football Intelligence Center
Innova Solutions partnered with the Panthers to design and deliver a cloud-native, AI-ready Football Intelligence Center, a digital ecosystem built on Microsoft Azure and Power BI that unifies football operations.
The solution was developed using a modern tech stack that includes .NET Core, Angular, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and SQL Server MI. Its microservices architecture supports modular scalability and rapid feature deployment, while containerization ensures portability and performance. APIs allow seamless integration with existing systems, breaking down silos and enabling interoperability across scouting, analytics, and front-office tools.
The platform includes five purpose-built modules for roster management, contract analysis, draft planning, college scouting, and opponent insights—all accessible through an intuitive interface tailored to the workflows of scouts, coaches, and operations staff.

The Panthers have modernized how their football operations team interacts with information. Coaches and scouts now access a single, integrated intelligence environment that brings together everything from player stats to predictive insights.
The system manages a wide range of data – from structured performance metrics to handwritten scouting notes – and organizes it in a way that’s both secure and easy to use. This allows staff to dig deeper into trends and make decisions with greater confidence.

For scouts on the road, the web-based system has made day-to-day work more accessible and flexible. They can continue entering data offline and sync it automatically when reconnected. Built-in scheduling tools support coordinated coverage across regions, all within a unified browser-based dashboard that reduces friction and simplifies access from anywhere.
