Workflow Initiation

Extracts individual pages from a multi-page PDF document using the AWS Step Functions

Concurrent Processing

Processes multiple pages concurrently by utilizing the Map state and Amazon Bedrock API

Data Validation

Validates the extracted data against predefined business rules

Human Review

Routes documents to Amazon A2I for human review if validation fails, allowing reviewers to verify the extracted results

Completion

After review, the state machine resumes with a callback task token, and the final output is stored in a DynamoDB table
