Client Need
The client faced challenges receiving payments from payers and patients, needing to improve the cash flow and reduce payment logs. Key challenges included:
Eliminating paper handling, follow-up calls, and postage through efficient, automated electronic processes
Developing a secure portal for provider enrollment and sensitive data collection (business, contact, and bank account information) to enable electronic fund transfers and improve turnaround time
Building a system capable of supporting the onboarding of 200,000 providers
Solution
We designed and architected microservices using AWS cloud technology, GitLab, Jenkins, and Octopus, implementing a robust and automated CI/CD pipeline.
Developed a fast and responsive single-page application using the latest React JS UI technology and Node.js for microservice backends, with automated unit testing (MochaJS and SinonJS) to ensure code coverage and prevent regressions
Integrated third-party identity verification services like Giact and Transunion to ensure the legitimacy of user information
